Two kits, one system

The Vitique system is a resin-based luting material formulated specially for veneers specially and ideal for placement of thin-layered, silica-based ceramic and composite restorations.

The Vitique product system contains two kits: the VITIQUE CEMENTATION KIT and the VITIQUE ACCESSORY KIT.

The Vitique Cementation Kit contains cements, matching Try-In pastes and veneer tips.

The Vitique Accessory Kit contains everything you need for perfect veneer cementation: etching gel, silane and bonding system.

 Flexible shade selection

The system delivers the full range of shades, enabling you to offer each of your patients the ideal esthetic solution.

The Veneer Cementation Kit comprises a standard range of three shades: A2.5, B1 and transparent. Refills enable the range to be expanded by up to five additional shades: A1, A4, Bleach Light, Pink and White.

Precise Preview for outstanding results

The Vitique Cementation Kit contains try-in pastes to match each individual shade. Consistently reflecting the shade of the veneer and facilitating the natural transparency of the tooth is the goal of Vitique.  DMG America has perfected an exact color match between Vitique’s Try-In Pastes and the corresponding cements thus ensuring a precise preview of the final case.

Vitique-HDSD1

The Vitique Veneer Cementation System is used for the permanent, highly esthetic cementation of veneers made from ceramic or composite. The Vitique Veneer Cementation System contains the following components:

I. Vitique Veneer Cementation Kit

  • Vitique Try-In:

Using the Vitique Try-In pastes, the final shade in the mouth can be accurately simulated and the correct shade of Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement can be determined.

  • Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement:

Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement is a highly esthetic composite luting cement. Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement is light-curing and X-ray opaque.

II. Vitique Accessory Kit:

  • Vitique Silane:

Vitique Silane is a bonding agent between silicate ceramics and composite luting cements.

  • DMG Etching Gel:

DMG Etching Gel is a universal etching gel (37% phosphoric acid gel) for enamel and dentine etching.

  • TECO:

TECO is a light-curing bonding agent for enamel and dentine for use with Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement and other light-curing composites.

Vitique Try-In

Paste for shade simulation.

Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement

Highly esthetic cementation of silicate ceramic and composite restorations with low film thickness (< 2.0 mm) that can only be cemented through light-curing due to their high transparency (inlays, onlays and veneers).

Vitique Silane

Bonding agent between etched silicate ceramics and composite luting cements.

DMG Etching Gel

Enamel and dentine etching.

TECO

Light-curing enamel and dentine bonding agent in conjunction with the Total Etch technique for use with light-curing composites (e.g. Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement) for indirect restorations (e.g. veneers) and direct restorations.

Contraindications

  • Do not use Vitique Veneer Cementation System in the case of known allergies to one of the ingredients.
  • Do not apply Vitique Silane to exposed dentine or enamel.
  • Use TECO only after etching the tooth substance beforehand.
  • Do not use TECO and Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement directly on exposed pulp. If necessary, use suitable pulp protection.
  • Do not use Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement if a dry working area on the prepared tooth is not possible. DMG recommends the use of a rubber dam.

Basic safety instructions

  • For dental use only!
  • Keep out of reach of children!
  • Avoid contact with the skin and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, wash the area thoroughly with water and soap and get medical attention if necessary.
  • Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental eye, wash eyes with large amounts of water and get medical attention. Risk of burns
  • DMG Etching Gel can cause chemical burns. In the event of a chemical burn, seek advice from a doctor.

Side effects

Timeline

Vitique Veneer Cement - Timeline Using

Instructions for use

  • Light-curing units should have an output of 450 nm and should be checked regularly. The light intensity should be a minimum of 400 mW/cm². Place the light as close as possible to the material. Observe the manufacturer’s instructions for the light unit.
  • To prevent premature curing of the materials, close all packaging immediately after use.
  • The inner surfaces of silicate ceramic veneer must be etched and silanized prior to cementation. The inner surfaces of composite veneer should be sandblasted prior to cementation. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

After removing the temporary prosthesis, clean the prepared core with fluoride-free polishing paste; in doing so, remove residues of the temporary cementation material, rinse, and dry with oil-free Try in the restoration.
Recommended use Flow Chart

  • The cement shade is selected prior to placing the rubber The shade of the luting cement is determined using the Vitique Try-In paste by applying it on the fitting surface of the veneer. If correcting the selected shade of the cement, the core and preparation are to be cleaned with water and the try-in is to be repeated with a suitable shade.
  • Remove the Clean restoration and prepared tooth thoroughly with water spray.

Note: Any residues of the Vitique Try-In paste can impair the permanent cementation of the restoration.

Note: The silane layer of pre-silanized ceramics is destroyed by the try-in. Following contamination of the silanized surface, clean the surface with acetone or alcohol and re-silanize.

  • Ensure that the restoration has been pretreated by the manufacturer (e.g., etching the silicate ceramic with hydrofluoric acid).Adhesive and Vitique Silane Activator in a 1:1 ratio for 15 Immediately
  • Dry the etched ceramic with oil-free air. Mix 1 to 2 drops of Vitique Silane apply a thin layer and leave on for 10 sec. Then carefully blow with a light stream of air.

Note: After contamination with Vitique Try-In Paste, clean the restoration with water spray and dry with oil- and water-free air. Clean the surface with phospho- ric acid for 15 sec, rinse, dry and apply Vitique Silane .

  • The use of a rubber dam to isolate the working area is Apply DMG Etching Gel to the prepared tooth; in doing so, start in the enamel and spread to the dentine. The response time is 20 to 60 sec on the enamel and 15 sec on the dentine. Rinse the etched areas for 15 s with water and dry with oil-free air. Do not over-dry the dentine. An even, moist layer should remain on the pre-treated dentine.
  • Work the TECO bonding agent generously into the conditioned tooth substance for 20 sec using a microbrush, remove any excess present, and carefully blow using oil-free air until an evenly moist surface Then light-cure for 10 sec with a suitable light unit.
  • Apply Vitique Esthetic Resin Cement with the veneer tip in the fitting surface of the restoration without leaving any Position the restoration accurately on the prepared tooth using gentle pressure.

Note: By using a tacking tip (light device with max. 2 mm diameter) which is set up in the center of the veneer and activated for 1 to 6 sec, the restoration is selectively secured in its position.

  • Remove large amounts of excess material using suitable In the case of very fragile veneer edges, the excess is carefully removed with a brush or dental gauze in the direction of the gingiva.

Note: Excess material can be light-cured for 1 to 3 sec using a suitable light unit and can thus be removed more easily.

  • Allow each side to harden for 40 Please note that the exposure time depends on the light intensity of the polymerization device used (follow manufacturer’s instructions).
  • Remove excess cured material carefully using suitable instruments and then polish the edges using suitable polishing
  • Check restoration for correct occlusal contacts and adjust these, if 13.Mirror-finish polishing of the edges of the restoration can be done with a polishing paste using polishing cups or discs

Storage and shelf life

  • Store in a dry place at room temperature (15 to 25 °C/59 to 77 °F) !
  • Do not use after the expiration date.
  • Close packaging immediately after use.
