Bases and Blanks

From the unitary titanium base to the plural on straight and angulated conical abutments via the blank

TITANIUM BASES

Prosthesis In-KoneThe Global D titanium bases are available as direct implant for In-Kone®  implants and on straight and angulated conical abutments.

The Global D titanium bases are designed to allow the manufacture of personalized implant abutments, bars and bridges in zirconia under the best conditions of mechanical resistance: the association of a titanium base with the zirconia superstructure is particularly indicated because it allows ” absorb the mechanical stresses transmitted to the zirconia structure.

These bases can also be used by the laboratory for the production of prostheses in conventional or digital technique and then attached by gluing on the base.

The unit bases have the possibility of being adjusted from 1 to 2 mm in height, in particular during the design in CAD software (possibility of obtaining a coronary height of 3 mm on the screen). Two titanium base diameters are available: 3.8 and 5.5 mm . The 3.8 mm diameter is limited to the aesthetic sector: from 5 to 5. The 5.5 mm diameter is to be preferred in the posterior sectors.

Plural bases are available for both straight and angled conical abutments.

All our titanium bases are included in the CAD software libraries.

“For the realization of unitary screw-retained prosthesis, by respecting the connections, the process by bonding on titanium base is essential.”
Joce Perret – Expert Prosthetist

Prosthesis In-KoneThe pre-milled (or blanks) are designed to allow the production by the laboratory (subject to adequate equipment) of personalized abutments.

Machining from a titanium block is an effective alternative for implantology professionals wishing to implement a local CADCAM solution that guarantees ultra-precise assembly at the implant-prosthesis interface.

Designed and manufactured by Global D, the blanks (or Pre-milled) guarantee our connections. They are compatible with the patented S3DEL * assembly and allow the production of personalized titanium abutments by the laboratory (subject to adequate equipment) with the guarantee of a connection benefiting from our industrial machining specifications.

Global D titanium blanks are available for In-Kone® and EVL® implants.

* List of compatible machines available on request.

In order to respect the connections, do not put the blanks in the oven.

The tension-free healing screw

Healing and Cover Screws Prosthesis In-Kone

The healing screws allow to sign the prosthetic cradle which will accommodate the future prosthesis of use. Each screw format is available in two supra-sulcular versions “flat” and “high” in order to adapt to different gingival configurations. The “high” profile is preferably indicated in the event of a mucosa presenting a difference in vestibulo-palatal or vestibulo-lingual heights .

The healing screws have a nominal diameter slightly greater (+0.4 mm) compared to the associated prosthetic components in order to facilitate the insertion of the latter in the event of gingival retraction.

In addition to the color code, a laser marking on the flat of the head of the healing screw indicates the format, diameter and periodontal height. Thus, the user can easily know the format of the emergence profile (Ø and H) conformed by the healing screw in the mouth. Then he chooses the component best suited to fit the cradle thus recreated.

HEALING SCREWS AND COVER

Healing and Cover Screws Prosthesis In-Kone

In-Kone® implants come with a flat cover screw. A high cover screw is available as an option.

The healing and cover screws are disposable, they should only be screwed in manually using a 1.2 mm hexagonal screwdriver.

When using the torque wrench, the maximum recommended torque is 10 N.cm.

In Kone® False Abutments: standard, profiled, short and mixed direct implant sheaths

Abutments and Sheaths Prosthesis In-KoneThe In-Kone® prosthesis range offers a wide choice of abutments to meet a wide variety of clinical situations. The silhouette of the transgingival neck of the components aims to allow a rearrangement of the mucosal seal as voluminous and stable as possible.

STANDARD ABUTMENTS

Abutments and Sheaths Prosthesis In-Kone

Standard abutments have a symmetrical shoulder that can be partially retouched to blend in harmoniously with the irregularities of the gingival contours. A color code by periodontal height makes it possible to associate the abutments with the different references of healing screws in order to match the emergence profile without tension. They are indicated primarily for the manufacture of single and plural sealed prostheses. They can also be used for making unitary screw-retained prostheses.

PROFILED ABUTMENTS

Abutments and Sheaths Prosthesis In-Kone

Contoured abutments have an “anatomical” shoulder designed to accommodate periodontal profiles which exhibit asymmetry between palatal and buccal mucosa thickness and which are typically found on the anterior maxillary sector. These abutments are primarily indicated for the production of sealed prostheses for aesthetic purposes.

SHORT ABUTMENTS

Abutments and Sheaths Prosthesis In-Kone

Short abutments  are generally indicated for posterior sectors, a sector with reduced mouth opening. The closed impression is taken using an impression cap clipped directly onto the coronal part of the abutment previously screwed into the mouth. A protective cap then makes it possible to protect the patient’s tongue during the manufacturing phase of the use prosthesis. The short abutments, available in 0 °, 7 ° and 15 ° versions, are used to produce single or multiple sealed prostheses.

“The wide choice of components offered in the In-Kone® prosthesis range always allows me to find the best solution for my patients …”

JD (01) – Dental surgeon

Abutments and Sheaths Prosthesis In-KoneThe mixed direct implant sheaths allow the creation of personalized abutments in a single or multiple sealed prosthesis as well as in a single screwed prosthesis. The burn-out sheath is used as a basis for making the custom-made abutment (in casting technique, in cobalt chrome or in pressed ceramic) to then be attached by bonding to the titanium base of the mixed sheath. Its use requires having an implant in the prosthetic axis.

The plural screw-retained prosthesis

Conical Abutments Prosthesis In-KoneConical abutments are suitable for screw-retained bridges, bar prostheses. They are available in 0 °, 17 ° and 30 ° angulation and in a wide choice of periodontal heights. The conical abutments allow, if necessary, the disassembly of prostheses during maintenance phases while preserving the integrity of the mucosal seal. The angulated abutments are available in rotational and anti-rotational versions in order to be able to work in direct or indirect method.

0 ° STRAIGHT CONICAL ABUTMENTS

The abutment can be placed after removal of the healing screw. The impression is taken directly on it thanks to impression transfers for a straight conical abutment. A cover cap protects the abutment during the fabrication of the prosthesis used by the prosthetist. For immediate esthetic loading protocols, 6 or 8 mm high caps are available in order to maintain the soft tissues until reception of the provisional prosthesis.

ANGLED CONICAL ABUTMENTS

Conical Abutments Prosthesis In-KoneThe angulated conical abutments are indicated for the adjustment of the axes in plural prosthesis. They exist in indexed or non-indexed version. It is recommended to take the impression directly on the abutment with the transfers for an angulated conical abutment. A cover cap is available to protect the abutment during the fabrication phase of the prosthesis used by the prosthetist.

PICK-UP TRANSFER WITHOUT SCREWS

Transfers and Analogue In-Kone®The closed Pick-Up transfer is used without screws. It exists in long and short version. Simply clipped into the implant, it is taken along with the impression once the material has hardened. This technique takes up the maneuverability of the pop-up technique, without having to reposition the transfer in the intrados of the impression, a potential source of imprecision.

OPEN-AIR PICK-UP TECHNIQUE

Transfers and Analogue In-Kone®The open Pick-Up transfers are used with long screws which allow the transfers to be blocked during the impression taking. They exist in long and short version. They are screwed onto the implants using the hexagonal screwdrivers or the friction screwdriver. The screw-retained pick-up technique, which is extremely precise, is available in direct implant impression taking and impression taking on conical abutments.

2 IN 1 DIGITAL TRANSFERS

Transfers and Analogue In-Kone®Global D digital transfers can be used with intraoral cameras for optical impression taking in the mouth and table scanners for digitizing plaster models in the laboratory. They are made of anodized titanium and can generally be used without powder coating. Truly universal, digital transfers can be used for all of our CAD / CAM solutions. The interfaces are integrated into the main reference CAD software.
Our libraries are available on request.

Transfers and Analogue In-KoneAs the connection is unique to the four implant diameters, so is the analog

The latest versions of implant analogs and abutments can be used in the printed models.
